BREAKING NEWS; Chiefs’ New Coaching Staff Revealed: Meet the Fresh Faces
The Kansas City Chiefs have officially announced their new coaching staff for the 2024 season, and there’s a fresh face on board. Meet Louie Addazio, the team’s new defensive quality control assistant. Addazio joins the Chiefs after spending time in the college coaching ranks with Ohio State and Bowling Green.
The rest of the coaching staff remains largely intact, with Andy Reid returning for his 12th season as head coach. Reid is a three-time Super Bowl champion and has led the Chiefs to back-to-back Super Bowl victories in 2022 and 2023.
“We’re excited to welcome Louie to our coaching staff,” said Reid. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from his time in the college ranks, and we’re looking forward to seeing the impact he’ll make on our defense.”
Addazio, a 35-year-old native of Ohio, spent the past three seasons as a defensive analyst at Ohio State. Prior to that, he served as a graduate assistant at Bowling Green, where he worked with the team’s defensive line.
“I’m thrilled to join the Chiefs’ coaching staff,” said Addazio. “This is an incredible opportunity for me to learn from one of the best coaches in the league and contribute to a team with a rich history of success.
The Chiefs’ defense has been a key factor in the team’s success over the past few seasons, and Addazio’s arrival is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the unit.
“Louie’s experience working with defensive linemen will be a valuable asset to our team,” said Chiefs’ defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo. “We’re looking forward to seeing the impact he’ll make on our defensive line and the entire defense as a whole.”
The Chiefs’ coaching staff has undergone some changes this offseason, but the team’s commitment to excellence remains unchanged.
“We’re always looking for ways to improve and get better,” said Reid. “We’re excited about the additions we’ve made to our coaching staff, and we’re looking forward to the 2024 season.”

“We’re excited about the upcoming season,” said Reid. “We’ve got a talented roster and a coaching staff that’s committed to helping our players reach their full potential. We’re looking forward to getting started.”
