Furthermore, if someone sends money to your Venmo account, you’re also meant to get a notification from Venmo.

Check your Venmo transaction history

If Venmo doesn’t send you any notification to authenticate the transfer you made.

Venmo set a limit to the amount of money you can use on the platform. If you are a Venmo user that hasn’t completed your identity verification, you will be restricted to a spending limit of $299 per week.

This means, if you haven’t been verified on Venmo, you cannot spend more than $299 in a week.

However, once you complete your Venmo verification, your limit is automatically increased to $2,999 per week.

How long does it take to transfer money from Venmo to a regular bank account?

Anytime you transfer money out of Venmo to a traditional bank account, it takes at least one day for Venmo to process and authenticate the transfer, as long as the are no complications with the bank account.

Please note: Any transaction made after 7pm EST would take more than a day to process as the company stops all official duties by 7pm.
